Opportunity:

To retain users in the 29k application and make them motivated to come back to the next group sharing session.

Process:

I was part of the core team that redesigned the 29k user journey. My main focus was leading the preparatory process. Since we couldn’t interview already existing users on the 29k platform I decided to do analogous research. We reached out to people who do weekly group activity and interviewed them. Also, we look through digital media communities and searched for patterns. I also collected data from anthropology and psychology science.

Solution:

Thanks to research we come up with valuable insights about why/how/what. Both practical and emotional.

I used that knowledge to make an action plan and it helped the team to prototype new user journey.
